I’ve faced more than my share of uphill battles, but each one pushed me to grow, to fight harder, and to build a life I could be proud of.
By 11, I had already cycled through more than 11 foster homes and a group home. Watching the choices and patterns of the people around me, I learned early on what I didn’t want my life to look like. I had two options: become a product of my circumstances or use them as fuel to break the cycle. I chose the latter.
That decision has been the driving force of everything I’ve done since. I enrolled at San Francisco State University to study social work—not because it was expected, but because I felt a deep calling to help others. College wasn’t easy. I worked full-time while attending classes, juggling jobs and responsibilities just to stay afloat. But those struggles taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and how to push forward with purpose.
During that time, a friend and I began brainstorming new ways to create financial independence. Everything shifted after we took a one-day, $300 course on becoming a loan officer. The course came with a list of brokers, and I called every single one—only one called back. That one call was all I needed.
That opportunity launched my real estate career in 1999. I started in mortgage loans, then expanded into real estate sales. Eventually, I opened my own appraisal, mortgage, and real estate firm. Real estate gave me something I never had growing up: stability and self-belief. With that, I was finally able to give back. When my younger siblings needed a safe place to land during their teenage years, they came to live with me. We came from the same system, but I now had the resources and strength to offer them the kind of structure I never had.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep expertise in valuation analysis for properties across the San Francisco Bay Area. I understand the nuances between neighborhoods—and even micro-neighborhoods—because I’ve studied, appraised, and worked in them for more than 20 years. That background gives my clients a distinct advantage, especially in a market as complex as the Bay Area.
For my clients, I bring not only technical knowledge but also lived experience. I understand what it means to search for security—not just in a home, but in life. I know how to listen, how to meet people where they are, and how to guide them through moments that feel overwhelming. That sense of empathy and steadiness is the foundation of how I serve people today. Raised in San Francisco and the Bay Area, I have a deep love for this community and take pride in helping people find “the one.”
Real estate isn’t just about buying or selling—it’s about creating something lasting. A home is often the first step toward building generational wealth and changing the course of a family’s future. I know what it means to grow up without that foundation, which is why I’m so passionate about helping others build it for themselves.
The people in my life are my greatest joy. I’m proud of raising my siblings, and of helping raise my spouse’s twins—now adults—who’ve taught me so much about love, patience, and commitment. I’m grateful every day for the life we’ve built.
I didn’t just survive—I built a life with meaning. And now, I get to help others do the same.
Real estate isn’t one-size-fits-all. Over the years, I’ve developed the skills to work confidently across a wide range of properties and client needs—from first-time buyers and VA clients to savvy investors, flip investors, seniors downsizing, and multi-unit transactions. I bring the same level of care, attention to detail, and determination to every experience. With a strong foundation in lending, appraisals, and renovation project management, I help clients see the full picture so they can proceed with confidence.
At the heart of my work is trust and communication. I never want clients to feel like they’re chasing answers or being left in the dark. I keep things clear, honest, and I am responsive from start to finish. Most of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients, which I don’t take for granted. I’m honored to be a resource, not just during the transaction, but long after—whether it’s connecting you with trusted vendors or answering questions that come up along the way. My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way.
Warmly,
